A MESSAGE TO THE PARENTS FROM THE PRINCIPAL:
I am proud to introduce myself as the founder and a team member of Garden Kids International School. Our school is a privately owned bilingual school. It was founded in 1999 to meet the needs of Dominican and foreign families who reside in the Dominican Republic and who were interested in obtaining quality education in the English and Spanish languages.

We promote excellence for our students both academically and ethically.

With a family-style environment, the school encourages open communication and interaction among administrators, teachers, parents, and students in order to enrich the learning experience and to maintain discipline and balance. We are proud of our students, parents and team of staff.

I would like to personally invite all of you to look through our web site and explore the many wonderful programs and opportunities we offer our students. We are blessed with a committed staff who support our efforts. We see our school as a community of learners, explorers, thinkers, problem solvers, creators, inventors and friends.

We encourage all the parents to become more involved at GKIS. In order to be successful, our school and your children need to have strong parent involvement in their education. GKIS was founded on offering a wide variety of learning opportunities to our students. This is not possible without tremendous support from our parents.

I would also like to invite everyone who believes that education is one of the most vital undertakings towards building a better future for our children, to join us in our effort in whatever way that they can, through their knowledge, manpower, material means, and otherwise. I strongly believe that “children are the most precious treasure a community can possess, for in them are the promise and guarantee of future”.
